AICF GUIDELINES
All Players/Parents kindly note that, AICF has strictly given instructions to Players, Parents & District Association of Maharashtra to contact them through Maharashtra Chess Association only. For any query/enquiry/information regarding National/International tournament Participation & other activities related to AICF, who directly contact to AICF, they may not entertain & MCA will not be responsible. To avoid such awkward position of us; we request you to follow the guidelines.
NOTE FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF ENTRY FEE/TA/DA FOR PARTICIPANTS IN NATIONALS TOURNAMENT

Players/Parents kindly note that we are pleased to inform you that from this year MCA will reimburse Rs.3000 to selected/seeded players participating in Nationals.
REIMBURSEMENT PROCESS
  • After selection in Maharashtra tournament players has to confirm about participation to MCA & send entry fee directly to organizer & MCA will intimate & confirm your nominations to organizer.
  • After completion of tournament he/she has to submit the reimbursement form along with original receipt & Xerox of certificate of participation.
  • The reimbursement only for seeded players or those participated MS tournament for current year.

AICF has a very strict rule about the age limit which
   is as follows:
  • Players should be born on or after 01.01.1997. Each participant must produce valid birth certificate to prove his/her age. Certificate from School are not enough. Certificates should preferably be from Panchayat, Municipality or Corporation. Players without the date of birth certificates will not be allowed to participate.
For Arbiters – License and registration compulsory:-
FIDE has introduced the following Rules:-
  • All FIDE Rated tournaments should have only licensed Arbiters
  • Tournaments with other Arbiters (not licensed) will not be rated.
  • The Rules come into effect from 01.01.2013.

Entry form for nationals / AICF selections:-
Please note that for participating in any National Tournament every player should confirm their entries through their respective divisions/districts and MCA failing to which his/her entry will not be entertain and he/she will not be eligible to that tournament. Till now we have seen that players directly send their entries to the organizers and also we have received many calls and emails from the players at the last moment for confirmation of their entries which causes problem to everyone. So, to avoid such problems in future, you all are requested to confirm your entries through your respective divisions/ district to MCA.

Failing to which your entry will not be considered as a confirmed entry for the National tournament and also Players should be a registered player of Maharashtra.

Confirmation for Participating in National Tournament:-
We have observed that the selected players in various Maharashtra Selection tournaments do not give the timely confirmation about their participation if they are participating in the subject Tournament or also the cancellation of participation if they are not participating in the same. In this regard, you are requested to submit your application in the prescribed format for the confirmation or cancellation of participation which is available on MCA website.

Failing to which your entry will not be considered and also if because of you a seat is vacant, next player have to play donor entry. You have to return MCA TA/DA (travelling allowance) along with the donor entry fee payment.

Celebration - Chess Day 7TH September- In the
memory of Late Bhausaheb Padsalgikar.

Recently the executive committee of MCA had been decided that 7th September is celebrated as a Chess Day In the memory of Late Bhausaheb Padsalgikar to honor the great work done by him in the game of chess field.

In view the above, all the organizers / players / district associations are requested to conduct a various program on that particular day. Also we requested all of you that if you have any idea/plan/suggestion for the above matter, kindly send it to us.

For National challenger men/women selection - State Tournament participation compulsory:-
All players/parents kindly note that, participate in Men / Women state selection are compulsory to all, who want to participate in National challenger Men / Women. Those players having rating above 2100 for women & 2300 for men, at the time of state selection EX National "A" players and International master and Grand master title holders are exempted and no need to participate in State selection.
Fide license for unregistered players:-
From the 1st of July 2013, Fide registrations have to be compulsory for all the players.
1. A player who registers to participate in any FIDE rated tournament shall be required to provide his FIDE ID number.

2. An organizer receiving any registration must refer to the list of FIDE license players before accepting the registration.

3. If an organizer inadvertently accepted a player without a valid license, the organizer shall be penalized 50 Euro for every infringement. Such players shall not have a FIDE ID number and shall have no Federation Flag.

It clearly state that a player playing for the 1st time in any rated tournament has to apply for his license and FIDE number well in advance, before the start of the Tournament , means spot entries cannot be received by organizers (especially for new players).

Fide license for unregistered players:-
MCA would like to inform all the registered players /parents of MCA/AICF not to participate in any unauthorized Tournament which is not recognized by the Maharashtra Chess Association and the All India Chess Federation. Before participating in any Tournament, please kindly check the same Tournament is recognized by MCA/AICF. Failing which appropriate action can be taken against the player.
